KIPP Aspire Academy is proud of their students and teachers. Take a look at some of our statistics and see how KIPP Aspire Academy students are excelling.
* After four years at KIPP Aspire Academy, our students’ gains on the national Stanford-10 (MS Word).test have been among the highest in the country;
- 27th to 65th percentile in Reading
- 35th to 90th percent in Math (Students are scoring in the top 10% of the country)
* In 2006, KIPP Aspire Academy was ranked as one of the top public middle schools in all of San Antonio by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
* In 2006, the SAT scores of our seventh graders were commensurate with those of local high school seniors;
- 1/3 of our seventh graders qualified for the Duke Talent Identification Program (TIP).
* We have been awarded the Texas Educator Excellence Grant (TEEG) for achievement with "educationally disadvantaged" students and an Exemplar grant for our Math program and results.
* In 2007, KIPP Aspire Academy maintained a 98% attendance rate, one of the highest in San Antonio.
* On average, KIPP Aspire Academy's students jump 2.8 grade levels per year.
