Our Mission
To enable children who have been educationally underserved to develop the knowledge, skills, and character necessary to succeed in top quality high schools, colleges, and the competitive world beyond.
Aspire Academy is committed to providing its students with a top quality education, making no excuses regarding background and previous educational experience and recognizing that there are no shortcuts to success. Hard work, superior instruction, and a collaborative culture focused on support through working as a team and family are our guideposts as we achieve our mission.
Aspire Academy is the product of thoughtful planning and will grow incrementally, providing time to implement the school design and build the school culture. The school will open with 80 90 5th graders and will add one grade level per year. Its small size, about 340 students at full-size, ensures that the students will be known and that relationships will form to build the team and family that will give the students ownership of the school and of their own education.
Both individual teacher practice and the operation of the school as a whole are based on research of best practices. In order to maintain this focus, set an example of life-long learning, and model self-reflection, Aspire Academy will operate as a learning school, staying abreast of current research and conducting action research focused on the school in order to ensure the success of the students.
