KIPP San Antonio Schools
Knowledge Is Power Program (KIPP) in San Antonio
KIPP San Antonio is a network of free, open-enrollment, college-preparatory public charter schools inside Loop 410. We operate two middle schools (5-8) and a high school. Our schools are part of the national KIPP (Knowledge Is Power Program) network. KIPP schools are dedicated to preparing students in underserved communities for success in college and in life.
KIPP San Antonio schools feature a “no shortcuts, no excuses” philosophy and a strong culture of achievement. Our extended school day, week, and year enable us to provide our students a well-rounded education, with sufficient time dedicated to academics, the arts, enrichment, and having fun. At each school, outstanding and committed educators give students the support and motivation they need to excel.
KIPP schools are nationally recognized for their successful approach to educating students from under-resourced communities. Nationally, 80 percent of KIPP alumni who graduated KIPP in the eighth grade have enrolled in college, as compared to community averages of less than 20 percent.
KIPP San Antonio. Work Hard. Be Nice.
